About me

My name is Hardeep and I am 61 years old. I do podcasts, and I like to read books and do drawing and crochet.

Podcasts

I like talking to people so I can find out about their lives. All people have different stories. Some are happy and some are sad. I have learned to listen and not talk too much. People in my podcasts have talked about their jobs, family, their country, and crises such as illness or not having money, about music and about marriage.

Reading

I started to read when I was 50 years old and I am still reading. I went back to adult education to  learn punctuation and grammar. It was hard for me at first. I get my books from the library and from friends. Books take me to another world. I like to tell people the stories that I read.

Drawing

I went to drawing classes to pass the time. then I became better at it.  I always draw people.  I  sold two drawings which raised money for the drawing classes. I have done some textile drawing and I also make cards. In future I would like to donate more drawings.

Crochet

I like to crochet and make things so I can give them to the homeless people so they can keep warm, because some people sleep on the street, and it is cold. It does not matter why they are on the street.
